Excited to Begin My HBCU Environmental and Climate Justice Corps Internship at the Bullard Center

I am excited to announce that I have started the HBCU Environmental and Climate Justice Corps (EJCC) Summer Internship at the Bullard Center for Environmental and Climate Justice

The EJCC program engages HBCU students nationwide in mentorship, training, and research opportunities focused on addressing environmental and climate challenges impacting vulnerable communities.

Throughout the program, I will learn from renowned experts, academics, and community leaders, including the father of environmental justice, Dr. Robert D. Bullard. I will gain practical skills in research methodologies and tools such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and environmental justice screening tools, visit environmental justice communities, and collaborate with peers to develop projects aimed at initiating positive change.

I am looking forward to this incredible opportunity to contribute to environmental justice and to grow both personally and professionally.
