Bullard Center Environmental Justice
Research Project
In approximately five weeks Logan will be presenting a group research project on Environmental Justice in front of a panel of judges who will determine if her research will compete at the DeepSouth Center for Environmental Justice 10th Annual Climate Change Conference.

Assets
Program Proposal
Logan is the founder of HBCU Assets, a non-profit organization dedicated to making education at historically black institutions accessible to students with financial need. They empower students through crowdfunding, scholarship search assistance, and self-advocacy workshops. They address challenges like tuition, student loans, housing, and campus safety head-on.

Friends 4 First-Years Project
Matching Program
The friends 4 first-years project (F4F) is a friendship matchmaking program for Spelman College (SC) first-year students founded by Logan R. Payne. In collaboration with Spellounge, a registered student organization at SC, F4F facilitates bonding events and community service opportunities for participants. In addition to friendship matches, they pair first-year students with upperclassmen mentors to guide them through the first-year experience.

Fundraiser Directories
After being admitted to Spelman, Logan met many talented and enthusiastic young men and women eager to join the Spelman and Morehouse community. However, despite their dedication, many of these students face financial barriers that could hinder their education. To address this, Logan created a fundraiser directory of students seeking financial assistance and sent it to over 400 individuals and organizations to garner support.

AUC Digital
Planners
Free Resource
During the summer of 2023, Logan designed and distributed free digital planners for AUC students. Her passion for planning and creativity drove this project, aimed at enhancing efficiency for her peers. Building on this success, Logan will create more HBCU planners for the 2024-2025 school year to continue supporting fellow students.

Schools
Education Lobbying Movement
Ahead of Logan’s high school graduation from the Humble Independent School District, she wanted to leave the community better than she found. Therefore, Logan embarked on an Independent lobbying campaign of the Texas legislature to advocate for policies that Improve civic education, health & wellness programs, comprehensive history, access to college resources, empower local school boards, and so much more. These were all Initiatives that her and her peers had discussed from kindergarten to senior year. Students' voices deserve to be heard In their schools, and elected representatives' legislative priorities should reflect that.

Youth Voting Ambassadors
Program Proposal
As Logan approached the end of her Internship with Baker Ripley Community Developets, she began working on a proposal for an Innovative Integrated voter engagement project. Youth voter ambassadors are ages 16-24 and are committed to furthering the mission of the Baker Ripley Voter Engagement team and the greater Houston community. This project expertly compiles the experience and lessons she gained during her tenure. The program was implemented in 2023.
